GovernmentCIO is looking for Program Analyst with a focus in HR to join our team. The role is to help support the of Director, Solution Delivery (SD) with the Department of Veteran Affairs Senior Executive's. 


  • Develop relationships with hiring Managers in SD 
  • Oversee VA Human Resource (HR) Artifacts and track HR actions through their lifecycle  
  • Act as POC for SD managers and staff members for HR and policy matters
  • Lead on-boarding process and track all associated tasks
  • Educate hiring manager or their responsibilities for new hires
  • Create completed new hire file, accurately enter employee data into VA system and manage any changes 


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Applicant should have at least 5 years of experience in communications, planning and leadership support, preferably within the Federal work space.
  • Experience in a Fortune 10 company preferred.
  • Experience supporting a HR department
  • Candidate must possess strong communication (oral/written) skills, and strong organization skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and One Note, Acrobat Professional, MS SharePoint and Visio.
  • Ability to write clear and concise correspondence.
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret complex information, communications and data.
  • Ability to think out of the box while communicating or dealing with a variety of situations.
  • Clear understanding of the activities, roles, and responsibilities involved in Federal consulting engagements.
