GovernmentCIO is currently looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our growing team supporting Federal clients.
Assist CMS in the design, integration, and implementation of CMS enterprise IT infrastructure and shared services by providing implementation-specific technical guidance that builds on the TRA
Support enterprise planning and engineering of CMS enterprise infrastructure solutions
Develop whitepapers, product evaluations, and other professional source material as needed
Provide IT implementation guidance as needed
Provide client authoritative guidance and technical standards for the effective implementation and operations of all agency processing environments based on the following:
CMS Information Security Acceptable Risk Safeguards
CMS Risk Management Handbook
Other federal and industry guidance and best practices
Oversee and maintain the change management process through innovative solutions and continuous improvement methodologies that align with changing standards, adoption of new technologies, and the evolution of client’s IT strategy.
Assist client in promoting awareness of the TRA, supporting the CMS Technical Review Board (TRB) in reviewing CMS projects, solutions, and technologies for compliance with the TRA and other CMS guidance, and accessing new technologies, technical policies, and engineering methods for suitability and guidance needs.
Various between 8-20 years of Technical implementation and operations experience
CMS experience required
Experience with IT Modernization and/or IT Service Modernization program
Expert in CMS IT Architecture Design and Governance
Experience providing Executive IT strategic technical and consultation support
Proficient knowledge of CMS infrastructure and applications that are supported on various distributed and Mainframe platforms
Experienced in strategy implementation guidance that correlates to latest IT industry trends and best practices
