    GovernmentCIO is looking a talented full life-cycle Corporate Recruiter who will be responsible for staffing variety of technical, management and non-technical positions across all areas of our rapidly growing company. 

    Responsibilities

    • Ideal to have some direct experience supporting the staffing efforts of Government Contractors or Consulting Firms
    • Absolute willingness to do the required data entry to maintain the Applicant Tracking System which is a vital responsibility to uphold OFCCP compliance and for reporting efforts
    • Gain understanding of position requirements by reviewing job descriptions and meeting with managers to discuss needs
    • Post and manage positions internally and externally thru our recruiting management system and develop sourcing strategy to develop pool of candidates
    • Maintaining an active pipeline of passive and active candidates
    • Effectively screen candidates and against job requirements and perform phone interviews to determine how well the candidates fits the need
    • Provide summary of candidate to hiring manager that highlights key information and recommendation for next steps
    • Coordinate interview process and obtain feedback from hiring team
    • Supporting hiring manager with compensation issues and negotiate offers of employment
    • Ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive leadership and technical communities
    • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions
    • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level
    • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email
    • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases

    Essential Functions

    • Collect and maintain Affirmative Action and EEO data from candidates
    • Confer with senior leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and recruiting assignments
    • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified technical resources
    • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS (iCIMS) to identify and recruit the very best candidates
    • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
    • Pre-screen candidates. Assist with creation of prescreening questions and present to hiring managers for collaboration and approval
    • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates
    • Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies
    • Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with hiring managers
    • Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers Human Resources
    • Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting
    • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required
    • Works cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities
    • Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies
    • Ability to saupport proposal efforts that require staffing support.
    • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 5-7 years of experience
    • Previous experience working in a recruiting function at either a staffing agency or within a corporate HR department
    • Strong customer service focus and demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency
