    GovernmentCIO is looking for an Integrated Master Scheduler to join our team supporting the Health Portfolio Management Office (PMO) contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs.  This is a dynamic position geared towards developing an integrated master schedule for the portfolio, which will represent 140+ projects.  The schuduler will be responsible for developing a strategic plan to develop the IMS, create the schedule from scratch, and propose reports to the client relaying information necessary to address pain points and/or areas of concern.  The candidate must have a proven track record delivering strong client support, analysis, and deliverables.  The environment is dynamic and client needs are often evolving; flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.   

    Responsibilities

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to extract information from individuals with a wide range of personalities and communication styles
    • Experience in coordinating with various program/project participants to gather schedule data, including individual discrete events, relationships (dependencies) among events and actual schedule progress
    • They must possess the ability to validate schedule logic following data input and can create standard report formats and ad hoc reports as directed by senior staff
    • Identifying symptoms for process improvement
    • Analytical and investigation skills
    • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
    • Understanding the client’s business issues and data challenges and ability to propose solutions and recommendations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience 
    • PMI-SP certification preferred
    • Well versed in the Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP) Project Management methodology
    • Experience with the VA, preferrably in the Health portfolio
    • Ability to work completely independently with minimal guidance and supervision
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
