    GovernmentCIO Media is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell our portfolio of advertising solutions. We’re looking for a high energy professional looking to join a fast growing team in the media market. The position will support our Director of Business Relations.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop strong business partnerships with assigned accounts for the purpose of growing advertising revenues.
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to help meet and exceed revenue goals.
    • Provide support to our director of business relations
    • Sell effectively with the use of market research
    • Uncover new/incremental revenue streams.
    • Provide regular reports to management including sales recaps and customer feedback.
    • Make outbound calls to develop advertising revenue from existing and new business accounts.

    Qualifications

    • Outside sales experience is preferred
    • Previous media experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of the federal marketplace is preferred.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strength in negotiation and problem solving.
    • Working understanding of Salesforce and Microsoft Office
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
