    GovernmentCIO is looking for a CPIC Finanicial Analyst to join our team. The analyst will support all projects within the Enterprise Services (ES) Portfolio by interfacing with Project Managers, budget analysts, and ES Senior Leadership.  The CPIC team is responsible for budget execution from planning through award. 

    Responsibilities

    • The CPIC Financial Analyst will:

      • Demonstrate experience leading diverse IT projects both large and small.
      • Demonstrate experience managing a portfolio of projects.
      • Understand the full lifecycle development
      • Experience interacting with senior leadership.
      • Must be able to manage up and manage down, while dealing with strongly opinionated individuals with strong convictions.
      • Understand the VA CPIC process
      • Understand the VA change request (CR) process.
      • Understand VA acquisition process and funding cycles.
      • Manage and track ES portfolio funding.
      • Track planned versus obligated funds.
      • Track ES acquisitions through award.
      • Understand where ES funding is available and track UFRs.
      • Support the defense against funds sweeping.
      • Support project managers to create, process, and track CRs.
      • Participate in outyear planning.
      • Demonstrate experience successfully managing disparately located (remote) personnel.
      • Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program
      • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
      • Responsible for on-time completion of all deliverables.

    Qualifications

    • The candidate must be well versed in VA CPIC, CR, acquisition, and budget functions

    •  

      The candidate must be well versed in the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP) project management methodology
    • Bachelors Degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business or related scientific/technical discipline preferred
    • 15+ years of experience
