    GovernmentCIO LLC is looking for a versatile application programmer to support development projects within small and medium sized organizations within a Federal Agency. The Programmer will be part of a shared Program Management Office staff which is designed to provide flexible support for development projects.

     

    This is not a role for someone who wants to do the same thing every day. It is an opportunity well-suited for a developer interested in working on a variety of projects and in a variety of roles.

     

    In supporting numerous organizations, you will work in application development (primarily SharePoint), but may also support web development, requirements development, project planning, and other critical activities. As a member of a team delivering solutions to complex problems, your work will include consultation and solution implementation.

     

    While the role will change from one month to the next, the work will be important, highly valuable and engaging. As a resource for various project teams, you may be required to research and learn new tools or technologies so it is important to be flexible and inquisitive.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of and experience in web design and development (especially in SharePoint 2016)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to engage with clients and work with multiple development teams
    • Background in management consulting and solution development
    • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
    • The ability to balance support for multiple stakeholder requests simultaneously
    • Experience working in an Agile environment, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
    • BA or BS in a business or engineering related field
    • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
    • Detailed-oriented with proven time management and organization skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve results.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equiv. experience (e.g. military, tech school, etc.)
    • 4-8 years of experience required
