The HR Generalist will be responsible for assisting with the general day to day HR support of our staff servicing the Veterans Administration data centers.




  • Develop relationship with supervisors within the IOSS contract
  • Guide and advise supervisors on performance management, compensation and policy issues.
  • Act as POC for IOSS staff members for HR and policy matters
  • Lead on-boarding process and track all associated tasks
  • Educate hiring manager or their responsibilities for new hires
  • Conduct new hire orientation that gives general overview of company and answers all questions related to benefits eligibility and enrollment
  • Create completed new hire file, accurately enter employee data into HRISAddress and manage any changes to employee or benefit data


Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of related experience along with a demonstrated knowledge of key HR concepts and employment laws such as FLSA, FMLA and ADA.  Must be detail oriented and experienced working with HR systems and MS Excel.   Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
