Overview

GovernmentCIO is looking for a Quality Manager to join our team. The Quality Manager will have overall responsibility for leading quality processes throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the ISO 9001-base Quality Management System including Management Reviews, Internal Audits
  • Ensure projects adhere to CMMI Lvl 3 standards and the internal delivery model
  • Process Owner for system processes such as Corrective Action and Document Control.
  • Ensure the synchronization of the corporate processes and programs
  • Lead the process improvement program
  • Maintain Quality Management Systems Manual
  • Interface effectively with management
  • Perform audits and lead improvement teams in strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors's degree or at least 4 years of related experience, advanced degree is desirable.  
  • Two (2+) years of experience in Quality Systems Management (including at least 1 year in a leadership role)
  • Extensive experience in a software design/development and service delivery environments and applying process controls within those environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multi-site Quality Management System including:
    • Leading the implementation or upgrading of an ISO 9001 or CMMI program
    • Planning, conducting, staffing and training an Internal Quality Audit program
    • Establishing and managing a process asset library
    • Developing, managing and improving processes
    • Planning and conducting management reviews and following up on actions
    • Interfacing with third party registrars and contractors as needed to maintain certifications
    • Coaching and mentoring employees and management
    • Managing the creation, control and delivery of process-related training
    • Preparation and delivery of QMS related metrics and reports
  • Track record of success through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Effective communication with all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity of the impacts of risk to a QMS
  • Experience in budget planning, tracking and management
  • Extensive experience in tools commonly used in the Quality Management field. (examples include: JIRA, JAMA, Remedy, TFS, Excel, Visio, MS Project and others)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • ASQ Certification as a Quality Engineer and/or Auditor
  • PMP certification
